ROBERTO FRANCESCHINI
He began his classical studies in parallel with those of jazz, participating in the seminars held by Marc Johnson, Miroslav Vitus, Enrico Pieranunzi, Kenny Wheeler, and following those of Siena jazz, conducted by Furio Di Castri, Paolo Fresu, Enrico Rava and gaining experience in Big Band directed by G. Gazzani. He attended the jazz interpretation course of Glauco Venier and for the rhythmic aspects he studied under the guidance of Roberto Dani. He collaborates with various regional formations, participates in a radio broadcast live on Radio RAI 3 playing with A. Battiston, L. Colussi, L. Marcolina. He is dedicated to the composition of original music also writing for ballet and theater. He plays with the guitarist Riccardo Chiarion and the drummer-percussionist Luca Colussi, with whom he recorded a CD with original music, entitled "Colussi Franceschini Chiarion". With the same training he performed at the Lignano Jazz festival. In duo with Riccardo Chiarion he takes part in the International october festival in Krakujevaz in Serbija. He also recorded the CD "Se" with Renato Strukeli together with the drummer Luca Colussi. Other collaborations in the studio with Adriana Vasquez, Goran Moskovski, Sara Piran, (outgoing CD) -Binho Carvalho recording in the studio (outgoing CD) and participation in the “slow in Maribor” “Exit festival” festival in Novi Sad (Serbia) He is a teacher at the music institute of Gorizia.
